Dr. Quirós-Alcalá is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Environmental Research and Children’s Health at UC Berkeley. Her research focuses on understanding the effects of environmental contaminants on maternal and child health and evaluating determinants of exposure to environmental contaminants in susceptible populations. Her current research focuses on evaluating determinants of bisphenol-A exposure in Latino mothers and children and studying the effects of current-use pesticides on child neurodevelopment. She has a BS in Bioengineering, an MS in Industrial Hygiene and a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences.
